POWERPOS - MULTI-BRANCH
Multiple
branches, located anywhere in the world, can be virtually linked together
to a central (head office) location using our head office branch management
system.
The flexibility of PowerPoS’s network functions means that, with the appropriate security access levels, you can link into any of your branch systems from any location that has a telephone socket or ADSL connection, using any PC equipped with our head ofice branch management software.
This allows for effective management of your sites from one location, giving the facilities to:-
t Change prices and offers from a central location
t Change stock details such as description, PLU, supplier etc.
t Perform stock/sales analysis and reporting of branch activities
t See which operator is logged onto an individual PoS Terminal
t Report on levels of cash in all cash drawers
t Perform most of the reporting available in the local back office
t Produce purchase orders for branch stock
You do not need a dedicated site for a head office to run our branch management system. You can effectively take your head office system wherever you go on a portable computer.
Each
branch must run our Branch Update Server software. This software typically
resides on the PowerPoS Communications Server PC or integrated File/Communications
server, if you have less than ten PowerTouch point of sale terminals.
You can also run the Branch Update server on a single till, avoiding the need to set up a network in your branch if you only have one point of sale per branch.
The Branch Update Server will ensure that all stock item additions, changes and deletions are notified to head office, whilst your head office operation can make changes to stock items at any branch remotely. You can also send and receive messages between head office and any branch. The Branch Update Server will also send regular transaction updates (as frequently as every five minutes) to head office. This means that you can see what you are selling at any branch almost instantly.
