t CCTV and Surveillance

Our security and surveillance systems can be installed at the same time as your EPoS System, thereby cutting down on time and costs. We use only the best state-of-the-art systems available, which represent excellent value for money.

Each surveillance system can have up to 16 high-resolution colour CCD cameras linked to a digital video recorder, enabling upto 16 pictures to be seen and recorded simultaneously, as well as continuous cycling through all channels. Our Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) utilise the latest motion detection features, meaning that you don't have to trawl through hours of footage to find an event. The DVR only records those channels where movement is detected. Each channel also records at a quality of upto 576 lines resolution. That's better than DVD quality. No more fuzzy recordings.

We supply two types of high resolution camera. Both use CCD sensors, which are far better than the older CMOS types. Both also have a very low light capability, being able to see images in almost total darkness. Our standard camera uses a Sony CCD sensor with resolution of 520 lines. It also includes a 3.5-8mm zoom lens, allowing you to perfectly capture the area desired.

Our dome cameras incorporate PTZ (Pan, Tilt and Zoom) and these functions can be controlled from the DVR itseld or by using an external controller. Upto 99 cameras can be controlled using the controller and give fast access to cameras. Because our DVRs are Internet enabled as standard, you can even pan tilt and zoom selected cameras from a remote location over the Internet or on your own computer network.

Weatherproof housings can be supplied for the cameras, so that they can be attached to outside walls, and so provide extra security for car parks, loading bays etc.

We also supply, as standard, a high resultion TFT LCD monitor, not an old-fashioned CRT tube monitor. You can view all camera images crisply on our 19" monitors. Individual cameras can be labelled on-screen and you have a choice of viewing a single image, taking up the whole screen, 4images, 9 images and so on upto all 16 channels at the same time. you can switch between cameras and pan tilt and zoom from the remote control supplied with the DVR.

Different lenses can also be supplied with our standard cameras, so that one camera may have a wide angle lens on it, and another may have a narrower field of view, and so could be used for capturing close-up images of customers at the check-out, for example, or right up to a cash drawer, from many metres away.

We supply two types of DVR. Both are identical in specification expect for the number of channels they can view and record. You have a choice of 8 or 16 channels. You also have a choice of hard disk size to use, although the standard drive supplied will be more than adequate in most cases, especially when using motion detection on all channels.

t Electronic Article Security (EAS)

Our sophisticated EAS Systems offer retailers a choice of products for every environment.Our focus is to provide effective merchandise protection that directly translates to increased retailer profits.

We provide a reliable and technically advanced 58Khz pedestal system which is one of the most reliable on the market. The system is fully digital, software driven, and has the latest DSP technology that constantly checks the environment, eliminating false alarms that you get from other systems.

Our more advanced systems can also detect items hidden in booster bags, where professional shoplifters used foil-lined bags to remove large amounts of merchanise. Contact us for more details of these systems.

To complement our range of EAS pedestal and loop systems we supply various soft and hard tags, as well as safers. Our soft tags cost a fraction of a penny and are suitable for application to any smooth surface.

Our hard tags use polished and rounded pins to prevent damage to sensitive garments.

They can optionally contain liquid dyes to make the garment useless to the thief if the tag is tampered with.

The latest advances in security technology mean that we can now supply a tag with a self-contained audible alarm. If a shoplifter tries to tamper with the tag a loud 110 decibel alarm is sounded directly from the tag itself. Each tag contains a button cell, which powers the alarm for typically five years.

 

Safers and Specialist Tags

We provide a range of safers and tags which allow particularly valuabe items such as CD's, DVD's, spectacles and bottles to be protected. Our safers contain the product, such as a DVD or CD and must be opened by a check-out operator at the point of sale.
