Our check-out desks are tailored to accommodate all components which make up the PowerTouch system.
ACX100 Metro Check-out Desk
This
is the most popular choice for small retailers or for those where space is
at a premium. The desk measures just 2000 x 1150mm and can be supplied in
either right-hand or left-hand configuration. This allows two units to be
place one after the other, enabling customers to pass on both sides of the
units. This saves a great deal of space.
These desks are tough and durable, made of RAL 9002 steel and
aluminium, protected by PVC RAL 7011 strips along the edges. The work surfaces
are constructed from laminate board.
ACX200 Full-sized Check-out Desk
Useful
for larger food retailers is the ACX200 range of desks. These desks have a
built-in electrically operated conveyor belt in two length options. The belt
is fully automatic, with an item sensor stopping motion when products move
to the operator. The belt can also be started and stopped by the use of a
foot pedal.
Like the ACX100 range, this range is also constructed from
rigid steel and aluminium and has PVC protective strips along the edges.
The ACX200 range of desks also come with a variety of options, such as basket
shelves and security doors.
t Oracle Kiosk
Our information kiosks can be used in any environment requiring high quality provision of information, such as museums, libraries and schools. We have also provided kiosk systems for short-term promotions such as competition entry.
Our
Oracle information kiosk is made from powder coated steel on a frame of tubular
steel for ruggedness and sturdiness. The unit weighs in at over 110kg, including
the PC, and comes complete with a 15 inch LCD touch screen with protective
anti-scratch perspex shield. The unit also features amplified stereo speakers.
At just over five feet high the unit has been designed to be ergonomic as
well as stunning to look at.
Various options
include a built-in omni-directional laser scanner, thermal printer and magnetic
card reader.
Our development division can tailor the software on the Kiosk to your exact requirements and have done so on many occasions. Our software is feature-rich, including sound, animation, video and high quality text and graphics.
Our Kiosk system was recently used at Jubilee Place, a new shopping complex in the heart of London's Canary Wharf, where, over a four-week period 100,000 barcoded competition entry tickets were handed out to passers-by to win a smart roadster.
The Oracle Kiosk can be networked and access virtually any local or remote database system. It also has remote management facilities, allowing you to dial into it and perform administrative tasks.
