POWERPOS - NETWORKING

PowerPoS provides maximum flexibility with its networking options. PowerTouch terminals can be used either stand-alone, or as part of a network with up to 250 of them being connected to a back-office server at a single site.

The system also allows back-office systems in multiple branches to be connected together. This enables reporting and analysis for all branches from a Head Office location. The days of system shut-down due to server failure are a thing of the past with PowerPoS’s fault tolerance. It is impossible for a PowerPoS network to be shut down, such that EPoS terminals are rendered useless.

Once networked, and with the remote link facility in place, you can access many of the features of the PowerPoS software from a PC anywhere in the world.

Using the head office branch management system allows stock item details to be altered for individual or groups of branches. You can also send and receive messages, see which EPoS terminals are operating, who is logged on and how much funds are in each cash drawer. You can also analyse sales and stock movements and carry out purchase ordering for each branch.
