POWERPOS - STOCK MAINTENANCE

Thanks to the way the PowerPoS network is structured, it is possible to update the stock database either from a back-office terminal, or from any till on the network, or indeed from a head office location.

New stock can be added, prices can be altered, existing stock details can be updated, and promotions and discounts can be set up with the minimum of effort, from anywhere on the network. This allows the retailer to respond to competitor or market pricing very quickly.

Within the stock maintenance screens you can specify every the system needs to know in order to sell an item. Only four basic fields need to be completely to allow you to start selling. These fields are highlighted in yellow. When you have more time you can input supplier datails, cost prices and begin setting up promotions and offers.

As the system 'learns' about your sales, it can help you to complete the re-order level and re-order amount fields, thus automating the stock ordering process for repeated lines.
