We offer a comprehensive support package, including unlimited telephone support, unlimited dial-in to your system to effectively sort out problems and offer remote training and on-site visits for problem-solving and additional training. We also have a policy of tailoring our software to meet the requirements of all of our clients. There are no additional invoices sent for all of this.
Around 25% of our new clients come to us because they are dissatisfied with their current EPoS provider. They are fed up with additional charges for doing simple things like changing a VAT rate or setting up new label designs. At PowerPoS Systems we will hold your hand all the way, from pre-installation to key times when you want to start using stock control, loyalty cards, trade accounts and so on.

Just click on the link and choose Save As to save the zipped file. Before opening the file(s) you will need an unzip password from us. Please either phone our support department or email support@powerpos.com to obtain this. If you need to install the WinZip software, download it here. The WinZip installation is 8.95MB.

This is a two-part update comprising the PocketPoS Server software, running on the back office PC/Server and also the pocketpos.prc file, which is to be installed on the PocketPoS hand-held device itself. Unzip this file into your back office c:\powerpos folder then hotsync c:\powerpos\pocketpos.prc to your hand-held device. You should make a backup of the existing c:\powerpos\pockpos.exe file before udpating.This update also include the PocketPoS support libraries for the hand-held device so if a hard reset has been done (returning to factory default) or the battery left uncharged for so long that all installed programs are lost, then you will also need to hotsync c:\powerpos\TcpIplib.prc and c:\powerpos\SocketScan_Driver_Setup.prc before running the PocketPoS software.

Unzip this file and copy pp_serve.exe into your back office c:\powerpos folder, or on the PC on which the Branch or Head Office Server software is running. This file contains a collection of programs which will install all of the necessary latest components onto a till, enabling the latest Card Processing system using Ocius Secura terminals. The order in which the software is installed after unzipping is important, so please do the following:-wDownload the ocius.zip file to your local hard disk (on your back office server) then unzip into c:\ocius

wFrom each till then run f:\ocius\dotnetfx.exe
wFrom each till then run f:\ocius\DotNet Framework SP2.exe

wFrom each till then run f:\ocius\Ocius\setup.exe and install all components selectedIf you have any problems installing the above, or Windows reports that your Internet Explorer browser is not up to date, then you will need to download and install Internet Explorer version 6 here. This download is 69.7MB in size, so only download it if absolutely necessary. You must NOT download the software from any other site as these only download a small executable file and the rest of the installation is performed via the Internet. You should download it into a folder name ie6 on your back office server then run f:\ie6\iesetup.exe from each till. Follwoing installation of Internet Explorer 6 you can then proceed with installing the Ocius software as detailed above.
You will then need to download the Ocius Installer version 3.06 (7.3MB) and again unzip it onto your back office server. From each till run the Ocius setup file from the server and the till software will be updated to the latest version.
